CrossLight Ministries

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of CrossLight is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Most people who attend our church will only be here for a few years.  That is why there are no shortages of areas to serve.  We recognize that fruitfulness comes in serving.  If there is an area that you are passionate about let us know.  CrossLight  members are involved in a variety of ministries from things as simple as hospitality work to preparing the church bulletins.  We have training programs to prepare you to serve within the vision of our church.

Ministry to the Military

The heart of the ministry at CrossLight is the Ministry to the Military.  We recognize the challenges that accompany serving in a foreign land.  We have dinners, fellowship, games, and other activities to provide a “home away from home” atmosphere.  We strive to work together with the military chaplains and leaders finding ways we can better serve the community.  We have dinners, trips and other activities that will get you acquainted with Korea and other people.

God-honoring worship is something we strive for. We are always looking for musicians who want to use their gifts to edify the church in music. Some are vocalists. Others are involved in the choir. Still others get involved by playing an instrument. These volunteers are an important part of the ministry of CrossLight Church, using their talents and gifts to glorify God.

The usher team at CrossLight Church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group of men and women whose ministry is integral to church life.

Media & Technology

Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of CrossLight. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. We need volunteers to help upload our weekly sermons to our website in video and audio formats. We also want to maintain an active Facebook and Twitter feed for additional church communication.  Want to get involved?

Prayer Warriors

Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. CrossLight is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to seeking God’s favor. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Throughout the week, volunteers to our Prayer Warriors team, pray for their pastor, a list of church members, any special requests, and missionary prayer needs.

Children’s Church

In order to give our children the best Bible teaching possible, CrossLight holds a children’s church service in conjunction with the main service. This special time gives kids more opportunity for interaction and learning in a context and manner that may be better suited to their age and learning styles. Our friendly children’s church volunteers have an endless stream of creativity–ranging from puppet shows, to games, to object lessons.
